TARCENTO, ITALY — February 1, 2024 — CV Engineering marked an important milestone in its international growth with the acquisition of F.R.E.E. SAS and the establishment of its Italian operations in Tarcento, Italy, through CV Designers SRL. The expansion strengthened CV Engineering’s multidisciplinary capabilities while establishing a permanent presence in Europe.
F.R.E.E. SAS was founded in 2011 by Fabio Rattighieri and built on more than 18 years of engineering experience. Over the last thirteen years, F.R.E.E. SAS supported industrial and commercial environments through electrical and electronic engineering and design engineering design, feasibility studies, construction and installation assistance, supervision, tendering, market research, and support for new and revamping projects. Its strong foundation in electrical engineering complemented CV Engineering’s existing capabilities, adding technical depth and local industry expertise.
Following the acquisition, F.R.E.E. SAS operations became part of CV Engineering through CV Designers SRL, based in Tarcento in northeastern Italy.
Fabio Rattighieri, F.R.E.E.’s founder and owner, now leads CV Engineering’s Italian operations. His continued leadership provides valuable continuity while preserving the industry knowledge, relationships, and local expertise that helped establish F.R.E.E.’s reputation.
Today, the Tarcento operation works as part of CV Engineering’s integrated global team. “I am proud to be collaborating with colleagues in the United States and India deliver complex engineering and industrial projects to our customers,” said Fabio Rattighieri, Director – Italy Division.
